Wolfie2k6, Thanks for the insight, I’ll keep that in mind. Check the ss requirements for the games you want to play and use that as a starting point for looking for a new video card.

So I start raeeon fin for solutions and I download various drivers from ATI site and Gigabyte one, too the video card is a Gigabyte ati rxdeon, as I said: Hi That is a very old card. As I posted previously, that card wasn’t supported under Vista either.
I installed it and after intallation and using the supposed updated my monitor was ok but after seeing the loading bar the screen went blank and not even disabling the onboard vga card on the motherboard helped in bringing the picture back.
