Guy i hve a Dell latitude D, i hve install Windows 7 on that machine bt after the installatiion complited bt the sound card and vga drivers are missing on windows 7. I upgraded to Windows 7 anyway. Ensured the “Microsoft Audio” is automatic and started in the services – and even stopped and started it. For the sound card driver, see the post by jeepautx 2 posts above yours. Hope I am wrong.
