I didn’t see any change in reliability myself between drivers. You have to unplug.
Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power. Thank you for posting this question on Microsoft Community Forums. It will not reactivate the USB port unless the plug is out and reinserted. I usually get that error on one of the two sensors connected to the FL controller.

Fresco USB drivers for Windows
These drivers failed spectacularly on my system. Read the comments below before installing the drivers. And as you can see, I’m not alone with fll1000 problem.

I have never had so many damn issues with hardware. This seems to provide the power needed to make the computer find and run the port.
